The main exhibition «In the footsteps of the salmon lords» is about the British salmon lords who came to Nordmøre between 1850 and 1950, and in particular the legendary Lady Barbara Arbuthnott.
Some 10000 years of Sunndal history is presented by several thousand objects, pictures and writings.
Leikvin’s historical culture park consists of Sunndal Village Museum, the Philipshage Botanical Gardens, an ancient burial place and the graveyard where Lady Arbuthnott is buried.
